Patriot Homes, Inc., established in 1972, is a leading builder of manufactured and systems-built modular housing, with four operational production facilities and more than 750 employees in Indiana, Texas, and Alabama. The building centers operate under the names of EnergyMate Homes, Crystal Valley Homes, Patriot Homes of Texas, and Patriot Homes of Alabama. In addition to single and multi-section HUD manufactured homes, the company produces modular (state-code) homes in ranch and two-story models. With its corporate headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana, Patriot Homes remains a family owned business and would rank as the nation?s 27th largest homebuilder when compared against all builders of single family homes.

In August, 2006 the Lincoln Park Homes building center located in Shipshewana, IN was closed and all Lincoln Park homes are going to be built at the Crystal Valley Homes building center and maintaining the same series names. With this change, all of the system-built homes are going to be built at EnergyMate Homes in Elkhart, IN and all HUD coded homes are going to be built at Crystal Valley Homes.

In July, 2006 the Heritage American building center located in Sikeston, MO stopped taking orders. They will be continuing to operate in making sure all orders that have been placed are built and delivered.

In April, 2005 the Victorian Homes building center located in Middlebury, IN was closed. The Victorian product, 30 wide HUD and modular, was moved to be built in the Crystal Valley building center, and identified as Victorian Series. The 28 wide HUD product was renamed Northridge II and will be built in the Lincoln Park building center.
- In January 2005 the EnergyMate complex was expanded with the addition of a 16,000 square foot building. The addition brings the EnergyMate Division production facility to over 150,000 square feet. Capacity at peak production was increased from 3 sections to 8 sections per day.
- In July 2004 Lincoln Park Division added 37,000 square feet of manufacturing space to allow for the addition of finished drywall product at their facility. The addition brings the total manufacturing space at Lincoln Park to 123,000 square feet.
- In April 2004 all production facilities, with the exception of Patriot Homes of Alabama, were made ready to produce modular code homes in addition to each division's current home offerings built under the HUD code. EnergyMate Homes remains the only building complex that builds strictly modular homes.
- In January 2004 responding to industry trends for larger and more elaborate homes, the Pinnacle Homes Division was moved to Hamilton, AL and consolidated with the SouthRidge Homes production to take advantage of the larger and more modern production facilities at the former SouthRidge division. The Division became Patriot Homes of Alabama.
- In 2003 American Heartland Division product integrated into Lincoln Park division. The former American Heartland facility was then re-tooled to become part of the EnergyMate building complex.
- In 2002 Victorian Homes Divisions added 30,000 square feet of additional building capacity to enable the addition of drywall product at the facility. Total Square footage of the building complex was expanded to 150,000 square feet.
- In January 2000, Patriot of Texas doubled its production space and began construction of finished drywall homes.
- In October 1999, Patriot Acceptance Corporation was formed. This licensed mortgage broker provides point-of-sale financing to retail customers.
- In April 1999, Patriot Asset Protection, Inc. was formed to provide point-of sale insurance products to retail customers.
- In February 1998, Patriot Homes, Inc. began production at the new Crystal Valley Homes Division, Middlebury, Indiana producing multi-section homes with finished drywall.
- In July 1998, Pinnacle Homes, Sulligent Alabama was acquired. This facility produces high-value, moderately priced sectional homes.
- During 1998 and 1999 Patriot acquired or established 25 company-owned retail locations.
- In January 1998, Summit Housing Group, formerly Direct Value Housing, was formed to establish a nationwide network of owner-operated retail sales centers, now totaling over 70 locations.
- Corporate offices moved from Elkhart Manufacturing site to a downtown office building located at 307. S. Main Street, Suite 200.
- The company celebrated its 25th year of business in 1997 and Samuel V. Weidner, Sr. was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernest and Young.
- In July 1996, Patriot acquired its first retail sales center with three locations in Indiana.
- In 1995, Victorian Homes in Middlebury, Indiana was acquired, producing high-value, moderately priced multi-section homes.
- In 1993, Patriot Homes Inc. acquired two plant facilities in Waco, Texas, forming Patriot Homes of Texas with a product line of single and multi-section HUD homes.
- In 1988, a steel division was established to build frames and carriers for building centers.
- In 1986, SouthRidge Homes Division was established through the acquisition of one of the largest, most modern, manufactured housing facilities in Alabama. The product line consists of price-competitive single and multi-section homes.
- In 1984, Patriot Homes, Inc. acquired a plant in Shipshewana, Indiana and established Lincoln Park Division. This division manufactures homes from 500 sq. ft. to 2100 sq. ft.
- The first expansion in 1981 was at the EnergyMate Division, which manufactures sectional homes, state code modular, cape cods and two story homes.
