(Arlington, Va. – April 19, 2006) Patriot Homes has received the National Modular Housing Council’s (NMHC) National Industry Award for “Concept Modular Home 1,800 sq. ft. or Less” for “The Texas Star” model. The award was presented today during the 2006 National Congress & Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Patriot Homes has been honored for its excellence in home design and innovation. This year’s award winners demonstrate how the industry responds to the desires of homebuyers by building beautiful homes, with exceptional floor plans, and with the conveniences people demand for today’s lifestyle. We are proud of the accomplishments of these award winners. They are showcasing the best of what this industry builds today and are contributing to improving the industry’s position in today’s housing market,” said Chris Stinebert, president of NMCH.
The clean-lined contemporary style of architecture is a step forward for factory-built housing. The SIP roof construction, with a standing seam metal finish and the corrugated steel siding definitely adds a unique look and finish to the homes.
The National Industry Awards are presented annually. Entries submitted for awards in the “Production Modular Home 1,800 sq. ft. or Less” category were judged by an independent panel of architects and building professionals.
The National Modular Housing Council provides modular manufacturers, suppliers, and builders a national voice to facilitate policies and programs beneficial to both the industry and consumers of modular homes. This is accomplished through industry unity, advancement of sensible legislation and regulation, and industry and consumer education. |
